LEED Green Building Indoor Air Quality
Industrial Hygiene Resources conducts indoor air quality (IAQ) testing in support of the construction of Green Buildings. This testing and demonstration of compliance with the established criteria would allow you to claim the US Green Building Council’s Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED), v4 Interior Design and Construction credit.
The LEED program considers indoor air quality, and allows two options to claim credit in this area. Option 2, the indoor air quality assessment, is our specialty and could help you achieve credit in this area.
All testing protocols are formulated in compliance with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency “Compendium of Methods for the Determination of Air Pollutants in Indoor Air”. Per this requirement, we will perform air sampling for formaldehyde, total volatile organic compounds (TVOCs), carbon monoxide (CO), particulates (PM10), and an expanded list of contaminants.
